Stuffed herrings

cooking time about 10 mins

Ingredients you will need for 4 servings.

4 fresh herrings with soft roe
Squeeze garlic juice
4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 hard-boiled egg
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
Salt and pepper

1. Prepare the fish and remove the roe, the bone and open out the fish.
2. Mix in all the other ingredients with the roe, season carefully and moisten with a little milk.
3. Spread on half the herring and cover with the other half.
4. Place in a suitable dish in an oven and bake (350°F.-Gas 1)for about 20 minutes.
5. Serve with wedges of lemon
